OSIM is glad to partner the Triathlon Association of Singapore in establishing and growing the sport of triathlon over the last 8 years. It is particularly satisfying to see participation grow - especially amongst family groups and the youth, and their overall interest in living a healthy lifestyle.
The OSIM Singapore International Triathlon this year is particularly exciting as it will be the first stage in the selection of young triathletes to represent Singapore at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in 2010. Hence, they will not only be aiming to beat their personal best, but to emerge at the top of the field. Many of them, no doubt, would have been introduced to triathlon through this very event. I am sure everyone will be watching closely as one of them could bring home a YOG gold medal for Singapore!
