Walk and burn calories!

Pros

Measures calories and fat burned
14-day memory
I often read that walking is a good form of exercise and helps burn calories. Glad I bought uWalk which keeps track of how many steps I take and calories burnt. I don’t jog due to my back problem so it’s really motivating to know how many calories I burn every day simply by walking. And isn’t it comforting to know that when I’m shopping, walking around the malls, I’m burning calories too :)

The 14-day memory is really useful, keeping track of my little “achievements’, motivating me to walk more every day. Now, I will take the stairs instead of the lift to my flat on the 5th floor since I guess it’ll be good to burn off a few more calories before dinner!

The slim design and 3-D motion sensor are plus points for me as the measurements are still accurate whether I slip uWalk into my pocket or handbag.

Now uWalk accompanies me on my ‘daily walks’ from the start to the end of the day. And I appreciate and enjoy the benefits of walking more than ever before.

Now I know 10,000 steps is not hard at all!

Pros

Love its colors and accuracy. It comes with info on calories and fat burn too.
I watch this video from eHow on my iPhone a week back and it shows how beneficial it is to walk 10,000 steps a day and in order to do that, I am advice to get a pedometer and I come by OSIM uWalk on a blog which I frequent.

At first, I can never imagine myself walking 10,000 steps a day. At first, it sounded impossible but for the sake of keeping myself fit, I am willing to give it a try. I started off with 2,000+ steps a day and I switch my behavior from driving to lunch to walking to lunch instead. Amazingly, by doing that, I clocked 12,000 steps a day.

I had never been motivated to exercise like I did with this machine. It keeps me walking more and more everyday. It's awesome. Just loving it :)

u Walk all the way!

Pros

It has a 14-day memory, which I think is very useful to track back your count!
It's pocket-sized, so it is convenient for me to put it in my bag.
Using it, I can easily know how much steps I've done each day.

Cons

More colours would be great!
Using uWalk makes me conscious on the number of steps I clock each day. With it, I can truthfully say that it motivates me to walk even more everyday! I like that it can accurately count my steps, distance, fat burned, etc.

As I do hike occasionally, uWalk makes my hiking trips even more meaningful now, as It counts my steps. With uWalk, it's almost addictive to keep checking my number of steps every now and then! Even my friends around me would ask how much I've clocked each time I do a check on the uWalk!

From the moment I wake up till I hit the sack, uWalk motivates me to walk more and more everyday!

An Excellent Companion!

Pros

EASY TO READ LCD display.
It's not too big and bulky to use everyday.
I love its colors! I got mine which is a cool Purple color!

Cons

For first time user of pedometer like me, I found it quite complicated to set-up coz of its many features.
This pedometer is everything I could ask for and more. It is totally an excellent companion when walking.
What I love about it is that is loaded with functions such as 3D motion sensor, calculates calories and fat burn, how far you've traveled,it even tells you the time and my most favorite feature which is the 14-day memory that keeps track of my progress in workout when walking.
This helps me to monitor towards achieving my goal.Aiming for 10,000 steps a day is an awesome goal. I'm going to keep wearing my sleek intelligent pedometer so that I am more aware of my physical activity during the day.
This device is indeed motivating me to walk-walk-walk!

My 10,000 steps and counting.....

Pros

Love its petit design and sleek colours (*got mine in purple!)
The 3D motion sensor makes it easy and convenient to use unlike conventional 2D pedometers
The 14 day memory function allows me to backtrack and catch up on days that I missed out on my 10,000 steps a day target!
Got the uWalk for 2 weeks plus and I must say that the uWalk is really a good motivator. Its like having a pacer with you while you walk! It constantly keeping you on your toes!

With the uWalk, I feel more motivated to walk and find myself pushing further than I could have thought of in terms of physical activity. I started off with about 2000+ steps on average during the 1st few days and have since hit a high of 14,000 steps! (who says having a desk-bound job means lesser physical activity!)

I've since switched to taking the stairs instead of the lift (hey, good for the environment too ya!), walking down the hall at work instead of sending out email or making that phone call. And gosh, little do I know that while prancing/walking around at home getting ready for a girls' nite out, I actually clocked about 1280 steps! - All of which contributes to my set goal of burning calories and my 'have-to-shape-up-cos-of-the-many-weddings-in-which-I'm-the-maid-of-honour' exercise regime. I'm looking forward to breaking my own record in the coming weeks!..

The uWalk is definitely a keeper!

Keeps me on my toes, literally!

Pros

Tiny, comes in a few colours to choose from, easy to read and use.

Cons

Each 'day's recordings resets at 2am, could have reset a little later!
Thanks to my hectic schedule, I am now unable to attend regular Muay Thai classes. This worries me because I am a foodie and I love to eat. Muay Thai used to help me fit and slim while still allowing me to indulge in my favourite food.

But when I used the uWalk I felt more motivated because it showed me that even walking can help me to burn calories. For example, about 10,000 steps can help me burn an average of 160-170 calories (and that is merely for an entire day of relaxed strolling, mind you).

So, I felt a greater challenge on myself to take more walks. After all, the more steps I take, the more calories I burn, right? (: And even if I'm too busy with activities in the day to maintain a fitness regime, it's comforting to know that I'm still continuing to burn calories as long as I'm constantly moving around!

Hmmm... I should really take on more 'sporting events' like shopping and dancing then. uWalk really knows how to put a girl's heart and mind at ease. (:

Keeps me on my toes!

Pros

I love the colours. Unlike most other pedometers in the market that's either black or too toy-looking, this one's colourful yet sleek.

It's small enough to fit nicely in my work pants or handbag.

Cons

Just wish there were more colours for me to choose from.
I got 2 of these. 1 for myself, the other for Mom. I have a desk-bound job and spend most of my time in front of the computer, so uWalk helps remind me to walk as much as possible during the day. I've had it for 3 weeks now and it's been great so far... I'd be kidding if I say I clock 10,000 steps each day.

But at least it keeps me on my toes and from about 2,000 steps per day initially I've increased to about 6,000 steps daily now. Over last weekend, I even managed 10,762 steps on Saturday !!!! yay~

Mom's a retiree and she's using it as she potters around the house or when she goes for her morning walks in the park. We encourage each other by comparing the steps we take daily every night :)

This is a fantastic product and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Totally worth it!!!
